Hey, ive got a little problem. after i completed step 3 the gc stopped reading discs! it spins for a sec than stops. the laser is on and the motor works. whats going on?

hey guys i was wondering if anyone knew how to replace the gamecube disk drive with the wii one. im making a gamecube portable but i want it to still use disks and be as slim as possible.
