For the most part: No. Most lightguns work by reading a CRT's beam as it moves acrossed the screen, LCD based displays have no beam, so the gun can't read anything. I'll vote for "probably". At any rate it would have a significantly easier time with it than we would because its wings would give it a propulsion advantage.
