It says it prevents light reflection.
The reason i ask is because it also protects the screen from scratches. 2 in 1 :)

Then so it be.. Ohwell there ain't that many FX games that I'd need a donor board for. :P
But I probably am making some for half my class in school, yea, all gamers, haha.
Of course, they must pay the donor, and eprom and eventual other costs their selfs.

Q: Can we re build Super FX(2) chips?

Hello everyone,

Next month or so I want to get my hands on a EPROM Programmer, to 'reproduce' NES/SNES games. (Homebrew, Starfox2 etc.)

But for the sake of Retro gaming, I don't want to use donor boards, at least avoid it, or only use Fifa and other games no one will miss that bad.. But preferably ...

Hey Threedog,

I've got the same problem on 1 of my 2 NES's, and actually tried the same things.
I did replace the Lockout Chip with one from a game, but still got the same problems.

Now I've tried everything, also did some stuff on the PPU (pin 21) and some other things I can't recall.
Nothing ...

I'd say, get a game you don't play much or hate, or just get a cheap second hand game.
De-solder that chip from a game cart, and replace the one in your NES ...
