Right... by mistake I bought 2 7" monitors from eBay... one is for my carpc project but then I have a spare now... it runs on 12v but don't know how to calculate the mah or whatever it is for battery power life...

Is feasible to use it in a handheld?

If you're going for a mame based arcade use a mini itx board... would save loads on internal space and power consumption too..

I've got a 6 cell 11.1v 4400mah battery from a laptop which I'm planning to use for a portable dreamcast....

Not really sure how to go about making a protection circuit for it or even if it already has one built in.... I also wanted to know if i can use the laptop charger to charge the ...

Just discovered some cheap plastic i bought to make a guitar scratchplate is actually HIPS plastic!!!!

If anyone can confirm about the battery it means i just need my screen and I can get this mo fo built!!!!

Can I use a laptop battery???

I've got a dell one from an old laptop rated at 11.1v.. tho doesn't have the ampage on it... though the laptop apparently is 19.5v at 3.4a... yup thats amps... still powers it for about 3 hrs and i've got a power charger brick thing too...
