Re: Thrustmaster PSone screen: unable to get composite video
I'll have a look around thenhailrazer wrote:I don't really know. But I think there is a guide on this forum and maybe even in Ben's book for building an amplifier circuit for rgb lines. Seems like it was just a couple of caps and resistors.
Thanks!

what do you suggest for this?
most likely the screen will be used with a PAL gamecube if that helps

Re: Thrustmaster PSone screen: unable to get composite video
Nope, just the usual brightness/volume buttons on the front.iHackedit wrote:did the screen come with buttons on the back?
Maybe it would have been possible to solder a potentiometer to the video chip,
but all the IC's on the boards are sanded down, making it impossible (at least for me) to identify them

Re: Thrustmaster PSone screen: unable to get composite video
FIXED!
If anyone's intrested, it turns out this screen does'nt seem to accept composite video, and since I don't have a RGB cable, I made my own:

Re: Thrustmaster PSone screen: unable to get composite video
Maybe I need a resistor/potentiometer connected between the comp. in and out, or ground?
Right now the screen is just showing light and dark "lines" which are moving up and down on the screen (up when switched to PAL, and down when switched to NTSC. When I connect the video cable the lines stop ...

Thrustmaster PSone screen: unable to get composite video
Hi!
I recently bought a Thrustmaster PSone screen which I will be using in some kind of portable later on.
The problem is, I can't seem to get the video to work. Audio works fine though.
I'm currently using a PAL Wii with composite cables as the source.
