Ok, I've looked alll over the board. Could not find any silkscreen components labeled with an F#.
Could they be labeled anything else?
edit: The lcd led turns on for a sec then goes away

PSone to PSone LCD issues
Ok folks,
I've been trying to get my psone to display on the psone lcd. I can get both to run off power. The psone turns on and spins and when I turn the power on, the lcd led light turns on then fades away after a second.
The problems is, no video is displaying. All I'm getting is light scrolling ...

PSone LCD Fuses?
Well I think i may have shorted out my psone lsd screen.
I was trying to check continuity of the video connections, and I forgot I had a battery hooked up. Needless to say, there was sparks and now I am not getting anything on the screen.
Are there fuses on the screen that I could check to see if ...

Speaker Proximity
Does it matter how close the speakers are to the lcd or the cd reader or the psone board for that matter?
Im planning on putting my speakers right next to the cd reader and psone.

Probably easy PSone LCD question
So I'm trying to composite video from my nes noac to the psone lcd. I did the input composite shown here.
http://www.benheck.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=2278
And then connected it on the composite to the noac.
My question is, is there any more ground wires or other wires that I have to connect in ...

Yeah, I'm making my portable with the same contoller (blue originally). I suggest not cutting the flimsy plastic part, even though I bet you could cut the trigger pieces off.
I'm think of doing that for my mod, and then connecting tact switches directly to the ic chip on the board where the flimsy ...

Removing vibrating motors on ps1 controllers
I'm working on my portable and I was wondering if you can just pull the wires connecting the vibrating motor off the controller board
Or
do you have to pull the wires off and short the leads between them?
