I'm going to build that one, like I said in he first post
But I need help on finding batteries and a charging PCB, if you can help me on finding those things please help.
btw I'm going for 7.4 volts

I'm going to build his custom regulator and want to use 7.4 volt batteries,
but I don't know wich batteries I need.
Every help is aprieciated

you can also cut off the connector in the lid sensor, maybe extend it and solder on a slide switch
you can also solder the female connector out the lid sensor in case you ever need it :p

here is my method to "fool" the gamecube

1. go to foundmy and buy qoob replacement wires.
2. once you have them solder off the little PCB
3. solder new (possibly shorter) wires on the little PCB
4. solder a slide switch on the wires
5. connect

Nevermind I got it already working again, thanks for trying to help anyway.

Here's a little update. Back part is holding battery's L and R buttons and gamecube mobo with laser. Everything is working properly.

Uhh, that's how 12v gets to the system. Try it with the Disk Drive and get back to us on how it works. Since you can power the GCN on lower than 12v, you may be right.

i'm quite sure it will because the disk drive get's supplied with 5 volt (see qoob pro guide (type qoob pro installed on google ...

i tried to turn on the gc with the original power adaptor but i forgot to take out the battery and now the power adaptor is ruined
just telling this as a warning so you don't make the same mistake

I found out you can wire the power regulator with only 4 wires instead of 5

the gc runs just fine i have not wired the DD yet but will sure be testing it again then

but when the qoob bios shows up everything is fine until you force 480p???

I'm going to try to follow the diagram and see what my results are.
by the way did it work already???
