So i was thinking about if there is any way to change the original wii dvd drive with an orginary PC DVD drive.
Anybody can help?

So u can buy a better RAMBUS memory chip (with the same clock but small latences) and replace the original one. But i don't think that it would help so much. If u need more fps or something like that u can get more clock to the memory, gpu and cpu doing a overclock

So teoricly u can put 2x4mb on a n64 mobo and more 4mb using expansion = 12mb
I don't know if it will help in some game cuz problably they are not programed to use more thant 4mb or 8mb (in games that need expansion pak)

I will use usb ports cuz it's small and the front of the case will be straight line (the normal controller in aren't straight line).

Im think that if someone could make some project (easy to my and other dumbs) we can make something special :D
Like..
Imagine u buy a old cartridge and modifie to send the "rom" file to this cartridge by USB.. so the progress is just put the "rom", plug the cartridge on n64 and play..

I have a dvd driver from lg working stoped here too..
